Mannai Corporation QSC, the largest Systems Integrator in Qatar, recently conducted a seminar on “Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 Upgrade” in association with Oracle Corporation. This seminar highlighted the advanced features, business benefits and best practices of latest release of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), the flagship ERP product from Oracle.
Mr. Moni George, DGM-IT Division at Mannai, inaugurated this seminar by talking about Mannai’s contribution to IT in Qatar. He also highlighted about Mannai Corporation’s recent prestigious recognition as “Industry Partner of the year 2010 – Public Sector” by Oracle.
The keynote speaker for this seminar was Mr. Mazen Abuisba, Project Quality Manager for Oracle Middle East & Africa. He showcased Oracle Corporation’s roadmap in Oracle Applications space. This was followed by a presentation by Mannai to educate customers on the nuances of upgrading to the state-of-the-art Oracle EBS R12. Mannai outlined its approach and capability to implement a successful R12 upgrade and explained the various challenges likely to be faced during implementation. The seminar was rounded-off by Mr. Rolf Jorgen Strand – Head IS Division, QVC, who shared his experiences in working with Mannai during their R12 upgrade project. Mr. Strand lauded Mannai’s professional approach on delivering a quality R12 upgrade within budget.
This ‘C’-level event, held on 8th April, 2010 at Doha Marriott Hotel, was well received with over 100 attendees from leading public and private sector organizations in Qatar. The main aim of the event was to educate customers on the benefits of Oracle EBS upgrade and return on their IT investments. The seminar gave a 360 degree view of R12 upgrade: from the product vendor (Oracle), from the implementation partner (Mannai) and a satisfied Customer (QVC).
