Mannai Auto Group has been recognized with the 10-Year Grandmasters Award for its Cadillac and GMC operations and is the only dealership from the middle east to receive this award from GM for the corresponding brands.
The 10 Year Grandmasters award is the highest accolades granted by General Motors to its global dealer partners. The Grandmasters program was created to reward GM’s best dealers, based on vehicle and parts sales, service, customer satisfaction and facility standards. Winners are selected on both the value and the quality of their operations.
Mr. Mohammed Helmy, Group General Manager, and Mr. Ivor D’Cunha General Manager Operations, represented Mannai Auto Group at the awards ceremony and meetings held this year in Barcelona, Spain.
During this year’s Grandmasters program, GM provided participants an update on its business and its plans for the future. They also highlighted some of the products planned for launch across international markets. The program concluded on with a gala dinner and awards ceremony for all participants.
Mr. Mohamed Helmy, Group General Manager, said: “Mannai Auto is honored to be the only dealer from the Middle East to receive a Grandmasters award for its Cadillac and GMC operations. We are honored to be considered in such elite class among global GM partners and we will continue to build on this recognition to ensure the quality of our services and the relationships with our customers continue to grow. This was also a great opportunity to connect with our peers from around the world and create synergies that are closely in tune with the brands we represent and the keep abreast of the constant innovation being witnessed in the field of automotive science and technology.”
“GM and its network of dealers’ main focus is on putting our customers at the center of everything we do. We congratulate Mannai on their fantastic achievement of showing their consistent dedication to customers and excellence for over a decade,” said Mario A. Spangenberg, President and Managing Director of GM Africa and Middle East.
This was achieved not just in terms of sales volume, but also by consumer satisfaction and high after sales service standards. Both Cadillac and GMC have been strong performers across categories in Qatar – a direct result of the exacting standards employed by GM across the customer engagement cycle, as well as the modern design language and technology advancements that define the current generations of both brands.
Now in its 13th year, the General Motors International (GMI) Grandmasters program was created to reward GM’s best of the best dealers from Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific regions for their excellence. 124 winners are selected based on vehicle and parts sales, service, customer satisfaction and facility standards. They are judged on both the quantity and the quality of their operations.
“Now, more than ever, we need high-performing business partners who are passionate about winning and selling and servicing our vehicles,” said GM Executive Vice President and President of GM International Stefan Jacoby. “Nobody knows our brands, products or customers better than our dealers. That is why we regard them as a critical part of our team. Our dealers are playing an important role in building our brands and supporting our sales. Like GM, our Grandmasters are putting the customer at the center of everything they do and building a culture to win. Their outstanding performance has set the standard for our entire network.”
