As part of Mannai Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, Mannai Air Travel staff participated in a beach cleaning program at Simaisma beach, in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, Beaches and Islands Monitoring Unit on Friday, the 29th of January 2016.
“The beach clean-up drive was a part of Mannai Air Travel’s commitment towards Environmental and Marine life protection. By conducting such cleaning activities, we give a positive impact on our environment before the waste contaminates our coastal waters. We see such initiatives beyond beach beautification.” said Mr. Farukh Sardar, Mannai Air Travel- General Manager.
Mannai Air Travel staff wholeheartedly worked hard for hours on Friday to hand-pick trash and other waste materials at the coast of Simaisma. They were supported by the members of Municipality and Environment, Beaches and Islands Monitoring Unit by giving guidance and leading the team to the proper locations where clean-up was much needed.
