Job Description:
- Perform Machine shop gauging/threading inspection for API 7-1, 5CT, and Premium connections (Tenaris, NOV GP, JFE, Hunting).
- Perform inspection of the API 6A,16A products, OCTG connections and other components as applicable and report preparation.
- Familiar with API 6A and API 16A requirements for Tree & wellhead equipment’s and Drill through equipment’s
- Perform inspection of X-over subs, Pup joints, Couplings, Drill pipes, Drill collars, Bit Subs, Stabilizer, X-Tree, Valves, LMV, DSA, Adaptor Spools, Modules, Gauge Carriers, Adaptor Flange, Blocks, Gate Valve etc.
- Perform receiving, in-process & final inspections as per Job Order records.
- Perform Inspection of special process- Phosphating, Copper plating, blasting etc.
- Maintain Quality Documentation system.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education – Mech Eng. – Diploma or Bachelor Degree
- Experience – Min 5-8 years CNC Machine shops with, API Q1 and API Monogram (API 5CT, 7-1) threading license holding company.
- Experience in Premium threads (Tenaris, NOV GP, JFE, Hunting) and knowledge in NDE techniques.
