VACANCIES/ SENIOR SALESMAN
Clearing & Forwarding
Solicit sales leads/customers via inside and outside sales.
Focus on sales and marketing aspect of the company.
Major Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Make sales calls to introduce company and try to get business.
- Follow-up on potential calls until final status is known.
- Account management through frequent visits to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly projections.
- Leverage operations, technical and administrative resources effectively to sell and ensure effective delivery of a high level of service.
- Prepare weekly sales calls report and maintain a database of all visits and comments.
Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree
- Good organiser with the ability to define and distinguish priorities
- Flexible and able to work as part of a team
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
To be familiar with basic terms and concepts, be able to create effective letters, memos, outlines, tables, reports and similar documents.
Years of Experience Desired:
A sound operational background with minimum two years experience within a multi-modal Logistics environment.
