Sales Engineer – Electrical
- Tackle projects and achieve sales target with Electrical Department with specific gross margin, keeping the best level of customer satisfaction.

- Light Fixtures (All Types)
- Cable Management System
- Cable Accessories (LV/MV/HV Joints & Terminations, Connectors & Fittings), etc.
- Cable Trays, Trunking, and accessories.
- PVC/Aluminium/Steel Trunking and accessories.
- PVC Conduits & Accessories
- Floor Boxes and Power Tracks
- LV/MV Switchgear, Panels, etc.
- Circuit Breakers, Fuses, Fuse Links, etc.
- Transformers, Cables, Earthing Materials and Bus Bars
- Identify suitable projects in the market and make satisfactory business relationships with clients, contractors and consultants.
- Respond to client/contractor/consultant by clarifying queries, and introducing appropriate products, which meet the client’s requirement.
- Generate/receive inquiries and propose suitable products
- Coordinate with our Principals/Suppliers to select appropriate products.
- Follow up material submittals ensuring that they are in compliance with specifications.
- Involve in major projects of the utilities in the region and generate business for the company by working closely with contractors and consultants, providing the required technical support to them, from the beginning of a tender/project.
- Attend in technical meetings at utilities with contractors/consultants.
- Support contractors in resolving technical issues during project execution.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations to the contractors, consultants and utility personnel.
- Participate in site visits, pre-tender and post tender meetings.
- Study about future projects in the utilities and make forecast for the company accordingly.
- Negotiate with Principals/Suppliers about prices, lead times and specifications.
- Obtain information about competitors’ products and prices.
- Attend and solve customer complaints, if any.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Having sales experience in one of the following companies/organizations :
- Light Fixtures : Thorn, Thorulux, Cooper, Fitzgerald, Philips, Regiolux, Iguzzini, Orbik, SBP or any other European Brand.
- Cable Trays & Trunking : OBO Bettermann, Ackermann, Cooper Crouse-hinds, LanRic, Thomas & Betts, Metaksan.
- Power Transformers : ABB, Siemens, Hyundai, Hyosung or any other major brand.
- Circuit Breakers : L&T, ABB, Siemens, Areva.
- Dado and Skirting Trunking : MK, Marshall-Tufflex, or any other European brand.
- Floor Boxes : OBO Bettermann, MK, Legrand or any other European brand.
- Panel Boards : Any brand.
- Feeder Pillars : Any brand
- Good interpersonal relationship
- Good communication
- Presentation skills.
Years of Experience Desired:
Minimum 5 to 7 years experience in Electrical Business (Sales and Marketing)
